Today I went to the movies with my dad to see Hobbit and it was awesome! At first I didn't think I would be interested in a movie like this one but I am! I like the adventure. I am having a great break so far!

Tomorrow is our Christmas party and I can't wait to do green elephant! I hope whoever gets my gift will be just as happy as I was when I got it! Just one more day until Christmas break!

I put up my Christmas tree this weekend and it was really fun. My mom and I watched Christmas movies and ate cookies. I loved looking at the ornaments that I made when I was little. My favorite one is on I made out of clay that is shaped like a Christmas tree and painted pink with my picture in the middle. I loved when I got to put the angel on top of the tree. For some reason my family puts an angel on top of the tree instead of a star. I look forward to doing this next year!

Today I had an orchestra concert and I had so much fun with Aria, Mia,and ShinBe, and Elise. I was wearing a sparkly silver shirt with a black blazer and gray leggings. We had a food table and I couldn't wait to run up and eat it. The first song we played was called Finale and the 7th graders played with us.
I messed up on one part by accidentally playing the A string when I should have played the D string. We got a standing aviation for this song. I like how all the different pieces  go together. The next and final song we played was Planets in Motion. I did way better but I kind of scratched on one part. After the 8 and 7th graders played a lot of songs. I really wanted to play Burst but instead the 7th graders got to play it because we were not ready. At the end,  I was chosen to go up and give the teacher some flowers but my mom forgot to tell me to go say some kind words at the microphone. I picked Mia to go with me.

After we all ran into the Orchestra room to but our stuff away and everyone sprinted to the food table and got in line! I got a cookie a cupcake and some fruit. I should have gotten a candy cane but I was to late. I had a great time and my "WINTER CONCERT"!!!!

I am reading one of the best books ever! It's called Upside Down In The Middle Of Nowhere by Julie T. Lamana. It is a really good and powerful story. I think everyone that is doing Birbery should read it and even if your not doing Burbury I still think you should read upside down in the middle of nowhere.

Today I had an ambassador meeting at the open house and I think I did really well. I am happy that I got to do 2 tours because some people only got to do 1. We had a break room where we could go and get donuts and cider and I think I had like nine donuts! Ok my second tour I was with Megan and she basically took over the whole tour! I had like nothing left to say when it was my turn to talk but she apologized after. The parents were nice and I saw some kids that I knew coming to our school. I hope a lot of kids come to our school!

My friends and I have a group chat on our text. It is really cool because we can all change the name of the group so it doesn't just show everyone's name. Sometimes they text on the group chat when they are not talking to me so I can just mute the text so I don't get alerts when they are texting. It also comes in handy when I need to talk to them all so I don't have to text them individually.

I am so glad to have the friends I have. We laugh and and we cry and I love the joy that we have. They always have my back from the beginning to he middle and now you can see that his is a riddle. They can count on my like 123! Oh I am so glad to have the friends that I have!

I am really tired and I feel like I am about to pass out. I have been up all night drawing dancers for my science comic and I still have 2 pages of math. To add onto that I lost my bow for orchestra!!1

200th Post!!!!!

This is my 200th post!! I cant believe I have come this far as a writer, reader and a person. I remember when I was in the fifth grade and I had just started writing. I have improved so much since then. I couldn't have done it without Mr. Joseph teaching me how to be a good writer and reader. Even when I don't feel like writing I know that I have to and in the end it will all pay off!!

My 13 year old cousin Christian is in the hospital. I am really scared. Every week he is sick and he has to miss a lot of school. He is still in the hospital as we speak!! He always gets good grades, he's really smart and he is awesome at sports! I hope he is ok😱😭

Today we had a half-day because today and tomorrow are conferences. That means that the book fair is going on in the library. I always get excited when the book fair comes because they have a table where there's a lot of little toys and stuff I like to look at. I am kind of nervous about conferences even though I always do great. I'm sure a lot of kids get nervous around this time. I remember when I was in kindergarten and I was freaking out because conferences were coming up and I thought my parents would be mad if I didn't get everything right but now that I'm older looking back on it I realize that I shouldn't have worried because I was only in kindergarten. I am sure when I am in high school and college I will look back on tomorrow and realize that I didn't have anything to worry about!!

Today I am going to a board meeting at Groves High school for Project Cope. We are going to get recognized for all that we have done. When I first joined the Joberts team I just thought oh were just making jewelry and this was going to be some project that know one new about and people would just forget it eventually, but I was SO wrong!! Joining the Joberts team has been one of the greatest things that have happened to me and I realized that we can do anything if we put our mind to it and I should be really proud of myself.

Today I went to my first party and it was called Friday night lights. My dad dropped Aria and I off and we stood outside waiting for our friends. "OMG OMG OMG!!!" Was all I could hear while everyone saw there friends. The first person we saw was Luke. Later on, Megan came and we were all getting smashed  in the crowd. Finally Amelia, Claire, Zoe, and Nia came. "Nia brought her friend who looked very familiar" I thought to myself. "Hi I'm Sierra". "Hey I'm Jordyn. It turns out that we knew each other from our old school. "Come on in a lady said in a loud voice that boomed outside. "This is so not how imagined it would be" I said out loud.

 So now we had a pretty big group of people. It was me, Aria, Megan, Nia, Sierra, and some other kids I don't remember. " Where is Thomas and Eric?'' we all kept shouting especially Nia. Everyone at school was talking about this room called the pit which was supposed to be really lame or something. "Lets go check out the "PIT" right  now!" I said very demanding. "OK OK" Nia said. The moment I walked in I new that all the rumors were not true. First of all it wasn't even dark and second of all it was a really big room and right in front of your face when you walked in there is like a  little area where you go and talk and then to the left there is a couch where you can play video games and then if you go strait there is two other couches and a WII. " O MY GOSH I THINK I KNOW THAT KID, IM GONNA GO SAY HI!!!!" I said in a really stalkish creepy way.

Published Piece

It was a nice warm day and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. My family and I were going on my first family trip. "Here at last!" My aunt said at the top of her lungs. Slightly embarrassed I hopped out of the car and took off my cover up and threw it in the car. The sand was hot and the water was cold. 

"Come on let's go make some sand castles" My cousin said to me. NOT NOW!!" I yelled back.While I was walking on the shore I could see pure White Sea shells washing up right next to me. All of a sudden a flock of seagulls and pelicans came flying towards us! I sprinted to my mom and asked her for some food we could give to the "birds". I grabbed the bag of bread crumbs and threw them to the birds as far a I could. All the birds landed on the burning sand and were fighting for the little pieces of bread. One seagull was basically knocking everyone over just so they couldn't eat anything. After the "birds" left I took out my towel and laid down in the sun. But today I didn't feel like going to the beach. 

My towel was a bright pink and it stood out on this beautiful day but I still didn't feel like being here! When I sat up on my towel I saw someone familiar in the water. After I rubbed my eyes a few times I soon realized it was my cousin! He was surfing! As I ran up to the water and grabbed my camera I could feel the water on my toes. "When did you learn how to surf?" Pretty soon it seemed like very one on the whole beachsaid as soon as he crashed up against the shore." I have always known how you just don't pay attention". He yelled back to me.  "All I want to do is just lay down in the car and get out of here" I said to my whole family. When I hopped into my aunts cream colored truck, I put the towel over my head and I tried to think of my house and how I wanted to go home very badly. Now can we please make some sand castles now!!?"FIIIIIINNNE!" I grabbed my purple bucket and dragged  it into the water and filled.

Washington D.C

I just came back from Washington D.C. And I have so much to write about. First I am going to write about when I got on the bus in the morning. "Bye mom,! love you"! I said as I waved. I could barely see her shadow from how dark it was outside. I turned on my phone and it read 5:45 am. I couldn't believe how early it was. When I looked over my shoulder, I could see Aria waving at her mom also. Everyone on the bus looked tired, but I was alert and awake! " I'm so excited"! My voice was raspy because that's usually how I sound in the morning. I gave all of my friends hugs including Anya. As we pulled out of BCS I knew I had a long journey ahead of me. 

The bus ride was ten hours but if felt so much longer! To make time go by faster, my friends and I decided to play a game on my i pad. We played GuessWho. My friend Anya took a lot of pictures on my phone for me. Since I was so tired I switched seats with Anya so I could take a nap because she had a window seat. " HA HA HA HA". I woke up to the sound of a movie playing in a tiny little screen right infront of my face. As I rubbed my eyes I saw Shin Be, Aria, Megan, Vivian, and Anya looking at me. " can you please come back over here?" Aria asked as I squirmed around in my seat. "FIIIIIINNNE"!. As I basically rolled over ShinBe and climbed back into my seat I could tell that Aria was happy." What movie are we watching?". "Sh!" Vivian said from the seat infront of me". Geeez I thought to myself.

"ShinBe lets do kitkat" Ania said. "What's that?" I said. "We will

Over the weekend was my Grandmas and my cousins birthday. My whole family had a lot of fun. The most fun thing was that I got to spend time with my baby cousin Jamiah!!! She is so cute. She has red hair and it's weird becuse  no one else in our family does. She also likes to bit a lot but she loves it when I pick her up. She reminds me of when I was 2. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving!!👶🍗

I cant believe it snowed this morning! every day when I wake up the first thing I do is go to my window to see if anything has changed, after I check my phone of course! When I walked outside to my car I could feel little flurries of snow and when I looked up at the sky I felt like I was on a cloud. Today I left school early because I felt sick and the last time I felt like this I threw up when our class went to go see bears at the movie theatre. I realized that all I needed was some rest and some medicine. I am happy that I left at the end of the day so all I missed was choice hour. The last time I got sick I didn't pay attention to it so I am glad I did this time.

The bus ride....

It was a usaull day and a usual bus ride. I was the last stop and all of my friends were on the first our second stop. " Bye Thomas, bye Tolan"!! I said just before they walked off the bus. About four stops later I was talking to a boy and his stop was almost up. Then I heard a noise. I it kind of sounded like snoring but I wasn't sure. As the boy walked off the bus I overheard him talking to our bus driver. "Thank you!, and also I think there is a boy that was sleeping next to me?" All the conversation at the front of the bus stopped. I let out a looong gasp. I tried to cover my mouth so it wouldn't sound really loud. Some people were laughing. "WAKE UP!!!!!" I shook him as hard as I possibly could. His tiny head popped up really fast and he looked confused. "You missed your stop" everyone said together. I could tell he was a little scared so I sat next to him. After all he was only a 4th grade. I couldn't believe that his brother forgot about him! I was kind of happy that I wasn't the last stop becuause I had someone to talk to.

Grandmothers

Most people think there some sweet old ladies that play bingo, bake cookies, give kisses, and knit, but they are MUCH more! My grandma is like my second mom. She is always there for me and she is really fun. She gives me a lot of advise that my mom could never give me. She is wise, strong and brave. My grandma travels a lot and she always brings me back something. One time she brought me back a bird from Alabama. Overall, I love my grandma!♥️♥️💋👵💌

Today we had another meeting for Washington, D.C. In Mrs. Roberts room. It started at 2:30 and ended at 6:09. My friends and I were so hungry! A lot of peoples parents came in and brought them some food. One kid got Jimmy Johns. We ran through our slides for the presentation. Aria is my partner and we are doing the River Rouge. I guess this meeting was worth it because now I almost have my script memorized.

    When I grow up I want o be a doctor. The type of doctor I want to be is a pediatrician because I love little kids and I love helping them. Every time I go to the doctor I always wonder what it would be like to take someone's blood pressure or give someone a shot. I think I am pretty good at science and math  so this would be a good fit for me. Doctors make a lot of money so I would be rich. I would also like to be a Brain surgeon so I can see how the brain works.

 I had just come preforming my routine for twirling at a back to school party. "Come on guys let's go race to the rock climbing  wall!" I told to my friends as they tagged  behind me. "On your mark get set go!!" I SCREAMED at the top of my lungs. I could the wind in my hair and there wasn't a thing that could stop me from soaring to that wall......yet..... In the corner of my eye I could see my friend almost in front of me and I knew I had to make a move quick. "Okay legs" I thought to my self, " you just have to work for about 30 more seconds and then you can rest all you want!" I sprinted as fast as I could until my left knee felt like it had completely given out on me! "No no not now not when I am about to win this race!!", but it was to late. I weird feeling came over me that day that nothing would be the same.

Scary Stories

It was a dark and scary night. There was named Jordyn and she was nine years old. Everyday when she woke up on the morning she would look in the mirror and brush her long long LONG dark curly hair. Her mom would always tell her " Beauty is only skin deep" but she wouldn't listen. All day at school all she could think about is how Beautiful she was and when she got home she went over to her mirror and brushed her long long LONG hair. But today was different. Today there would be no more brushing of the hair and no more beauty.

Halloween is coming up and I have been thinking about what I want to be. I was looking on Party City and I found two costumes that stood out. The first one I found was a mime. It comes with suspenders, a skirt, a beret, a striped shirt, and  a bandanna. The second costume I found was the Queen Of Hearts. That comes with a dress, headband, gloveletts,and tights. I am kind of sad that I wont be able to trick or treat with my friends this year because I am going to Washington D.C but I know I will have fun and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

The big discovery

Ding!! My mom and I had just walked of the claustrophobic elevator. First phisical therapy and now an orthipidic surgeon appointment!!! Sometimes I think that my friends think I am faking my injurie or they are tired of hearing about it because when I talk about it they look like they aren't even listening. A lot of kids think I'm faking and that I don't need all the support I have. When I walk into the door that leads to the waiting room, it feels like a million eyeballs are all on me. I like attention but I didn't imagine it like this! When my mom checked me in i saw the bathroom door open and all the nasty fumes went strait up my nose and seeped into my lungs. I was gasping for air but I tried not to show any facial expression. "Jordyn Denham for Sisisloyski" I heard the nurse say. Her eyes darted around the room until finally she spotted me. "Right this way" she said as she leaded me to a rather large room. As I waited for the doctor all I could think was, " please let there be good news PLEASE LET THERE BE GOOD NEWS!!". " Knock knock" I heard just seconds before the door swung open. He asked me a lot of questions and I gave him a lot of answers. Some questions didn't even seem necessary like when he asked me how's school going. He told me I could not do any more phisical things for another 2 months because he wanted to strengthen my knee a bit more. When the trial of questions was over, a lady came in and let me try on some knee braces. The one I got had two metal wires and something to keep my knee in place. "You're all set" the lady said. As I was walking out a lot of people were gone. It was like they had vanished. The moment I stepped oustside I knew it wouldn't be long until I would come here agian.

The Misterious House on StoneBrook Lane

There once was a girl named Tallulah Julia Jasmine. Jasmine was a very adventurous ,loyal, kind, and smart girl. She had just moved into a new house with her blended family 3,459 miles away from there hometown in London. Jasmine or as some people like to call her "Jazzy"  already had to adjust to a blended family but now she would have to deal with living in the busy streets of New York. Unlike the rest if her family she was happy to move to The NYC. When Jasmine was little she used to go visit her cousin Mildred and she used to tell her stores about when she was a child and how there family had great magic running through there veins. Of course Jasmine was to young to understand so she just sat there and listened, but deep down inside of her she understood.

The Birthday Catastrophe

The air seemed sweeter and the trees seemed greener. It was my birthday!! My whole family and close friends gathered at the park next to my house. I was turning 4 years old. When the party started I was happy that everyone was enjoying themselves and I was happy because my sister India was there. All the kids gathered around me and we played some games. I won all of them of course because after all it was my birthday. I decided we should go play on the playground. While everybody headed over to the spider web, I stayed behind and got a juice box. I got my favorite flavor, Wild Cherry. After I took a long cold sip I went to go play with my friends." I can climb the highest " I shouted while I climed my way up to the top......

The not so Terrific twirling

I was at twirling practice on a dark night. My friends and I were taking a break and we saw this creepy unusual hallway. Since we all were very curious we decided to go explore it. At first it was just my friend Kayla and I but soon more people started tagging along. "Wait up!" My friend Miyah and Nyah said as they followed. There was a door at the end of the hall and it looked like it had been there for ages. "Are you sure we are allowed down here?" Kayla asked as we checked to make sure no one was following us. "Of course we are" we all said.

 Kayla acts like she's not scared of anything because after all she is 12 in a half but deep down inside she's afraid of everything.

Presidential Perfection

My word count goal: 275.  

 I was so looking forward to going to meet Michelle Obama and watch her speak tomorrow night I thought to myself.  I am so happy that she is the first African American First Lady. One day I hope to be the FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE PRESIDENT! I could hear my mom on the phone with her friend Ronnie and I over heard them talking about some tickets to see something. I creeped down the hall and hid behind the couch waiting for the right moment. 

"Bye" I heard my mom say and she hung up the phone." so what were you talking about?" I asked in my suspicious high pitched voice. Well, Ronnie has some extra tickets to go see Michelle Obama speak but- "YAY YAY IM SO EXITED. OKAY SO DO WE HAVE TO DRESS FANCY OR CASAL IM GOING TO GO WITH FANCY!" I said before she could even finish her sentence. 

                                          

Part 2 Terrific Twirling

One Early morning in Ohio, My twirling team and I pulled up in the drive way of a high school for competition. I watched my mom get out go the car and get all of our stuff. Makeup,extra clothes, costumes and hair spray. I had knots in my stomach the size of a soccer ball. As I got out of the car I speed walked all the way to the door because I could not run. The air smelled like rain and I could see the clouds parting the sky. If the sky doesn't clear up quick then maybe that means we I will have bad look, I thought to myself.

My whole team huddled together as we waited for the rest of the people to come in. Once we were all inside the building we went inside to take of our layer of I clothes and put on our costume. I was blinded by everyone's sparkly outfits and hats. I went over the routines one last time just to make. sure I had it. "I AM SO NERVOUS!!" I said to my friend Miyah. Her mom was the coach so she was really good. "Don't be you are going to be awesome!!" She assured me. While we were going over the routine as a group I could see a couple people who didn't know the routine at all and if we didn't win it would be the first time we didn't win first place and that would be awful!! 

"Next up the twirling steppers." A woman said over the muffled loud speaker.  We all ran up on the ready line right after the team before us finished their routine. I almost dropped my baton from my sweaty shaking hands. When the music started a rush came over me and I was in the zone. As soon as my head went up I put on my biggest and brightest smile ever!!

I was doing my best and making sure that my arm was strait and my toes were pointed. When we were in. Our circle I could hear someone falling and dropping their baton but I never dropped it once. When it was time for me to go to the front and toss it up in the air and do my high kicks I was really nervous because the girl next to me was really of beat and we were right in front of the judges table! One judge was looking right in the eye and then she wrote something down and I knew things were not going well. My head went strait up when the music stopped and we strutted off the stage. 

When we got off the stage I felt I did really good but some people might have ruined that. The next routine was really good but I didn't know if we were competing against them.

Monday morning wake up call!

One early Monday morning, I got out of bed at 5:30 in the morning. I usually wake up at 6:30 but today was different, today I have physical therapy!! If I had to get up this early every day I would be miserable. Its hard for me to get ready in the morning since I have a hurt knee and I cant put pressure on it. When my mom and I walk to the car I feel a cold wind on my face. The surgeons office was only 7 minutes away. Physical Therapy was upstairs. When we pulled into the drive way thee was on other tiny red car. It was still dark outside and the building wasn't open yet so I decided to take a 5 minute nap. I thought to myself, how did we get here before the workers? I heard my mom screaming '' WAKE UP JORDYN!!". What is it? said as I popped my head up. Its time to go inside she said. As a walked inside the knot in my stomach disappeared.  

Washington D.C.

I am so exited to go to Washington D.C!! I also feel bad for the kids that can't come on the trip like the. New kids and the kids in the other sciracy class. I have never been to Washington D.C before so it will be and adventure. When we go on the tours I don't know how I am going to be able to walk for all that time so I am going to have to bring my crutches. I really want to buy this bag that says Washington D.C 3 times in different colors and I want to buy my mom something. I heard that we were going to the Hardrock café which people say is a really good restaurant. I also heard that we are going to a Galla. (122)

A Galla is a fancy dance I guess where everyone dresses fancy. I don't know if I am supposed to dress fancy or wear my Halloween costume since we are going the day before halloween. I have already started packing for this special trip. The main reason we are going here isn't just to have fun, it is to learn also. We are going to meet governors and other important people too. I hope we get to see the White House because I have always dreamed of seeing it. I have to make sure I delete a lot of stuff on my phone so I can have enough room to film and take pictures of the whole trip. We will probably see really cool things that I never dreamed of seeing! (130)

5min writing

I had just finished preforming at my friends school for Twirling . I had changes into my regular clothes and my friends and I were having a race. 3,2,1 GO! I. ran as fast as I could to get to the rock climbing  wall when... My knee shifted out of its socket which forced me to fall to the hot ground leaving me behind in the race. I could see everyone sprinting to the wall and getting on there safety harness. I limped all the way there and every one asked me what happened but I didn't think it was anything serious so I just told them I tripped and never brought it up again.

A little while later I was at Twirling practice and it was getting dark. We had just finished practicing our routine for our Labor Day parade and we were all taking a break and we had to go down this hill so we decided to race again and of course I fell but this time it felt different. It felt like someone had taken a knife and literally tried to cut my knee and and then poured burning hot water on it!! I steamed in pain,  some how know one heard me except for my friend Brooklyn. Everyone stared at me, I could tell that something  serious happened.

One day I was at twirling practice and after practice my coach and my mom went for a walk while my friend Miyah and kala and I talked in the park. We saw these teenagers in a corner being really loud and they looked like they were smoking. When my mom and my coach came back from there walk we went in my coaches car and played some games while the grown ups talked. All of a sudden we saw the same teenagers going up to a car and screaming get out of the car! Get out of the car! One of the boys pulled out a gun and looked right at me! My mom got in her car and drove of so fast! I got out of the car because my mom had elder me but then I got right back in with Miyah and Kala and my coach followed my mom to a quet store around true corner. We were all freaked out! I said I was going to watch the news tonight. Then Miya said that she was hungry and we all looked at her like she was crazy. We all vowed never to stay at that park after dark!

A couple days ago was my birthday! This year I decided not to have a party so I just had a celebration with my family. On Saturday I went to the sand dunes at the silver lake beach. I got up really early and my mom and I went to go pick up my grandma. When we got to the beach it wad really hot and I had to use the bathroom but the restrooms had every ones else's business in the toilet and a whole bunch of flies so I just held it. I took my friend with me and we ran through the burning hot sand!! my friend buried me in the sand and then I buried her in the sand. After,we got really hot so my mom told us that when she was a kid she used to hold her sisters hand and run in the lake together and couldn't let go. So we tried it but the moment we got in the water we saw a huge black blob and we started bolting back to shore! We realized that it was just sand so we went back in the water and swam. We had so much fun!! I wanted to go in the light house so we got our money and when we got there they said the light house was closed1 I was so angry but my mom said my friend and I could run up the sand dunes. We slid down the sand dunes and it was really hot! The next day we all went to my grandmas house and my aunt and uncle came over and grilled chicken and fillet minion. I had fillet minion, a baked potato and bread. When it was time for cake it had a huge Eiffel Tower, a purse and a crown. It also said J adore and my name on it. It was so good!! I got a lot of presents but my favorite one was getting to spend my birthday with my family!

I have decided that I want to play volleyball. I have to be prepared to play in 7th grade so my mom and dad signed me up for two volleyball camps. The first camp I went to was a Berkley High School. There were so many kids and the only girls my age were my friend Sullivan and Marlena. Everyone else was older than us. The two instructors of the camp demonstrated different things and then we would have to do it with a partner. At the end of the week we had a tournament each team wore a special color  and mine was rainbow. We lost the tournament but we got mini volleyballs and a t-shirt!! The second camp I went to was at Seholm and it was really fun!! One of the instructors was a little strict but he was still nice. we would do mini warm ups with partners and have mini games. On the last day of camp we got candy and a t-shirt ad we won the tournament!!1 I cant wait to play volleyball in 7th grade!!

I am on a twirling team which is when you twirl the baton. On the 4 of July we are always in a parade. And this year we were in the park parade. All of my team members got in formation and started twirling.some people were on the side and waving flags. My friends mom is the coach so it is kind of wierd when we are practicing. Our team is called the Detriot Twriling Steppers. And we picked Detriot because it is a really common city even though we don't live there. My other friends cousin was in the front doing flips and cartwheels. One mom was doing a cool face painting design on her daughter and then another girl asked her if she could do it for her and pretty soon everyone had the design. The parade was fun and long but especially hot!!☀️🌞

At the end of every year, we go somewhere special for Girl Scouts. This year we went to the three Cs in Ohio. Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. We all got on this big bus very early in the morning. It was still dark outside.  My friend and I sat way in the back so we could be as loud as we wanted to. It was about a 2 hour drive, and as soon as we got to Ohio  the first thing we did was go on a tour of the Underground Railroad. It was so cool to see the actual places the slaves went. We watched a movie that was supposed to be scary but it really wasn't. We went to go see famous quilts and my friends little sister followed us. 

Once the tour was over, we went to Kings Isand which is kind of like Cedar Point and Michigan Adventure. It sucked that we only had three hours to go on rides but I made the best of it. The first ride I went on was really big and it went around the whole park. It was like a race. There was a blue team and a red team. My friend and I were on the red team. Which ever roller coaster gets there first wins and my team won. After we went on another ride that took really really high and spun you around then brought you down. All of the other rides were ok but I have been on better ones. 

After kings island we got on the bus and went to the hotel. When we got to the room my friend and I were really hungry so we decided to go the Red Lobster next door. I had never been to red lobster before so I was exited to try it. When I finally decided what I was going to eat, I picked a baked potato, steak and crab. I was so full I just decided to get in the bed and sleep.

 In the morning my friend and I got up really early and went to breakfast. After we are we hopped on the bus and headed to Columbus. In Columbus, we went to a science museum and it had so many cool things there. We went on this one ride thing where it feels like a roller coaster but you are really on this car like thing that moves up and down and side to side. We saw this girl that was on a bicycle on a rope and she looked really scared. I think she was crying. We were so bored out of our minds until I found out there was an aquarium center! I rushed over and my friend noticed a real submarine. It was really cool and old. 

After the museum we went to a new hotel and stayed up all night. In the morning we skipped breakfast and got on the bus. We were headed to a different type of museum. The rock and roll hall of fame! They had a whole floor for Michael Jackson. We even got to see his signature. We went to look at this astronaut section and it was amazing! I got to "try" on a real space suit. There was this really cool water fountain and when you stick you hand through it it forms a bubble around it. When it was time to leave the museum I was kind of bummed because it was our last place. When I got on the bus I got a pillow and fell asleep. When I woke up I was in Michigan!! 

I has the best and longest 3 day trip ever!!!!!!!

As you probably know I am a Girl Scout. I used to be a Junior but I just bridged so now I am a cadette. Bridging is kind of like going to the next grade. At my "Bridging Ceremony” we were in a church and my mom and dad came. We had program's  that had the schedule and all the biographies of all the Girl Scouts inside. My troop leader called us up one by one and asked us questions. When it was my turn my heart was trembling in my hands were shaking. My heart raced so fast that I thought it was going to burst out of my chest! I successfully answered all of the questions to my surprise. As I sat down I could feel a smile coming. After the ceremony was over, it was time for food. All the bridging Girl Scouts went to a private room where we cut the cake. It was the most beautiful cake I ever saw! It had all the Girl Scouts names on it including mine. I asked my troop leader how much did the cake cost and she said $150. I think it was worth the money. I am so ready for cadettes next year!🎽🍪

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been really busy. I can't believe summers almost over! So far I have had a lot of fun but it's not over yet. I had a sleep over with my friend Lia and it was really fun! When I got there I ran in her basement where I found a ton of girls singing karaoke. So I just watched them make a fool of themselves. We ate pizza and then had a whole bunch of candy. The theme of the party was blue and green so there was a table full of blue and green candy. We were all really hyper and sugar high so we decided to watch a scary movie. We couldn't decide on Purge or scary movie so we just went upstairs to eat cake. After we ate cake we watched an action movie about the end of the world. When the movie was over, everyone went home exept for me. I was secretly spending the night at Lia's house and everyone else wasn't. We ran upstairs and stayed up all night listening to music, making funny videos and talking. The next morning my mom came to pick me up and I got a gift bag and left. This party was the perfect way to start my summer!!

Today was our field trip and we went Roller skating and bowling. When we were on the bus to go bowling my teacher was standing in front of us talking. I don't know why he was standing up when we were driving. The bus hit a sharp turn and I knew what was about to happen. I shut my eyes and tried to duck but it was to late. My two friends and I were crushed by our teacher. His butt went strait in our face and his body lied their on top of us. He was in shock. Every one was asking us if we were ok and we said yes. My other teacher said in her  sarcastic British voice " he totally fell on you and put his rear end in your face on purpose"!! We all laughed. My teacher said he was sorry and I told him I was going to write about it so here I am writing about what happened. I had a wierd fun day today!!

Remember the old Miley Cyrus or Hanna Montana. We'll I really miss her. Some people like the new her but most of my friends liked the old her. She was so sweet and kind to every one but I guess she gave into peer pressure and thought she was being treated like a baby. When I was little I had Hanna Montana everything. I remember this one head band I had that was so special and it was signed by her. I wore it almost every day. It was baby pink with lace. If you held it up to the sun you could se the little felt hearts with Hanna Montana on the inside. To top it all of it had a tie in the back that I always hung on my shoulders. Most of the time I got complements when I wore it and Miley had one just like mine. On the last day I ever watched "Hanna Montana" I was putting on the Lacey pink head bead when it snapped. I was in so much shock and I know it might sound like it was no big deal but to me that head band meant a lot! A tear dropped down my soft little cheeks and when I looked up I heard Miley Cyrus's new song Party in the USA and that was when I knew that the sweet kind and good role model Hanna Montana and Miley Cyrus were gone forever!

I went ice skating with my friend and it was really fun. I haven't been ice skating in 3 years so it was fun to do it agian. I cut my leg on my blade but I kept skating. I made up a dance with my friends little sister and that was really fun. Before we went ice skating we did a science project on oobleck which is a liquid that turns into a solid when you apply pressure to it. It was really messy. I have loved ice skating since I was really little and I hope I keep ice skating!

Liberty's dad just became the president of the United States and she has to go to a new school with new kids. Liberty is a little scared going to a school with normal kids when she is the first daughter. At first, when Liberty got to her new class, she was nervous because the kids wanted to sit next to her like she was a movie star but she just wanted to be treated like a regular kid. Liberty just got used to kids staring at her.

Since people are starting to get a little used to Liberty being here, Liberty's friend Harlow was a little over exited that she wanted Liberty to do this dance she made  up very recess every day. All Liberty really wanted to do was go on the slide. When she said lets go on the slide first Harlow said no she had to do the dance because recess is short. Harlow did not even Know Liberty that well and she wanted to be best friends.

Libertys class is going on a field trip amd eberyone wants to be her partner but they dont know if they are good enough for her. She sees this girl named Preeta and Quinn and she wants to be Her partner but she doesnt want her not to like her. Liberty said she would be her partner and Preeta  went to sign them up on them up on the sign up sheet. Harlow came up to Liberty and told her that she would go sign them up but Liberty told her she already had a group. Jarlow told her that she made her other friends be partners so they could be together and told Liberty that they would figure it out. Harlow was so determened to be her partner that she went to the teacher. Liberty told her next time they could be partners and Harlow stormed away.

I am so happy that I am going to do volley ball next year! I was inspired by my friend Lauryn who plays and she lives in Louisiana. I also really like ice skating because ever since I watched the Olympics in 2008 I was inspired!! My mom got me a book about ice skating to and the last time I went ice skating was 2 years ago and I hope I can do it again!

Today in social studies a had a lot of fun. My book club did a reenactment of our book Chains. We are doing the part when the slave Isabel's sister Ruth had a seizure. I play the main character Isabel, !egan plays Madam, Vivian plays Becky, Leo plays the Governer and the recorder, Ryan is Mr. Lockton and there is Ruth. It was really funny when Megan has to call Ryan Elihu. I also liked when I had to jump on to of Ruth and rub her face. I had a lot of fun in social studies and I hope I can do it agian!

There once was a girl named Jade. She lived in a big house in San Francisco with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. She always dreamed of going to Paris. In her free time she loved to pick all sorts of flowers, dance and Ice skate. She had a little sister that was 2 and her name was Gabbie. Her parents were divorced and lived with her mom. She so had and older sister but she never saw her. She really loved flowers and everything to do with Paris. She wished people could see how smart she really was. She was in the 6th grade and went to a good school. She went to tutoring two days a week and her dad took her. Her mom was always tired when she got off of work and fell asleep really quick. Jades little sister loved to ride her purple bike and sing bubble guppies. Every time the show would come on she would stand in front of the tv, look around then sing. Jade would join in with her. In dance there was once girl in Jades class that always got to be first or infront. She was nice but she always new how to talk to people. One day Jade was riding her bike from the store with gabbie in the back when she saw a house. She picked up gabbie as she snored on her shoulder. Creeeeeeek the door seemed like it was saying. When jade put one for on the floor a piece fell down a deep deep dark hole. She safely got to the other side. There was a grand stair case  right infront of her and it had a note on the 4th step. Carefully Jade walked up the steps but when she got to the 3rd step someone tapped her shoulder like they were in a hurry. She turned around quick almost falling over the steps. She relized that it was only her sister asking where they were. Gabbie jumped down and picked up the note. When she did an old woman appeared behind them. She was holding a flower and had on an Eiffel tower dress. She picked up Gabbie which made Jades heart beat faster than a cheetah. Jade closed her eyes as she slowly hit the ground. When Jade woke up she was in a tiny room and it smelled like blood. She went to the mirror and in blood it said the final clue is around the corner. Jade checked her her pocket to see if her pocket knife was there. “ good I have it” she said. When she opend the door a note on the ground said this is the end. Jade walked back into the room carelessly but the 4 ninjas dropped down infront of her. There faces looked familiar. She watched the ninjas.They started to fade away. Suddenly she heard crying. It was her sister. Jade rushed out to the hall and scooped up Gabbie. She was still crying but after awhile she fell asleep. When Gabbie woke up, Jade was gone sp she decided to look for her. As Gabbies foot hit the 4th step a big whole appeared and inside the whol was lava with evil people in it. Gabbie felt someone pushing her to her death. Or so she thought....... To be continued
