Short story

There was a young woman who had magical powers. She kept them a secret for if her identity was revealed she would die. Everyday she would sit on her porch and watch all sorts of people walk by. Tall, short, skinny, and fat. Her name was Mrs. Morraze

The big mistake

It was early in the morning on August 5. I woke up thinking there were on 5 more days until my big day. I hopped out of bed and ran downstairs and to my surprise there was no one there. I went back upstairs and into my moms room but still no one. I realized that my mom went to go get the iPod I said I wanted but I really wanted the iPad 3👎. I wrote it on a piece of paper but I forgot to give it to her. I planned it to be the best birthday  ever but it ended up being the worst. Suddenly the key turned in the lock. Hi Sara I'm home! My mom said. Right before my eyes was my very own iPad 3!

The first day

I woke up on a calm crisp September morning. It was the first day of school! I brushed my teeth, took a shower, and slipped on my best shirt and skirt. I had a big breakfast so I could have a lot of energy. I was so exited I couldn't eat anything. My stuff was all packed up and everything was new. I had a ton of supplies I couldn't carry all by myself. When we got to school and took the first step into my new class it felt wonderful! I new the rest of the year was going to be awesome!

Year round School

I think everyone should have year round school, because it helps you academicly achieve. Lots of kids all over the world experience burnouts during the summer.About 50 million children are on summer vacation across the United States. Many are discovering new interests at summer camp, playing ball at the Y, or traveling with Mom and Dad. But millions of others are loitering in parking lots and shopping malls.Summer vacation once made good sense—back when we lived in a brawn-based economy, academic achievement mattered less, an absence of air conditioning or modern hygiene turned crowded schools into health risks, and children had moms who were home every day.
