Today was the best day ever! In the morning at school I had math. When I walked in the door everyone was saying the pledge of alegence. I joined in and just when it finished their was an anouncement that if we raise 2,000 dollars from recycling cans, our principle and vice principle would dress up in a weird costume and do a funny dance. Everyone bursted out laughing. My teacher really wanted to see this so she told everyone our homework was to collect cans. When we got out our math journal and saw what pages we had to do I wanted to work with my friend Amelia. When Amelia and I work together we always get stuff done quick. This time we didn't want any homework. We switched off on every problem. We went so quick that we had time to play a game at the end of class. Iam so happy I got all my work done.

Year Round School

I think everyone should have year round school, because it helps you academically achieve more. One reason is, lots of kids all over the world experience academic burnouts during the summer. While their having fun they forget all the things they learned in 3 long months. About 50 million children are on summer vacation across the United States. Many are discovering new interests at summer camp or traveling with Mom and Dad while other kids are wondering around in parking lots.( Education Week statistics). Most kids get bored during the summer or there parents don't have enough money to put them in camp. A survey of school decision-makers in 1971 said that 84 percent of respondents thought  that year-round schooling would be in all U.S. schools. ''To solve our schools' problems with ignoring test scores, rising costs, overcrowding, and bad behavior, more and more people are beginning to turn to a year-round school calendar" says Jessica in 7th grade.(Year Round Education personal experience)

There once was a girl named Jordania. Her best friends name was Ameliaina. They had a secret language called lorainia that they spoke in their tall castle. The pavement of the castle was a light peach which was Jordanias mom's favorite color. A while back Ameliaina and Jordanias moms past away on the same day. They never said anything about them ever since. One day Ameliaina decided to go out the castle but when she left she never returned. Jordania grew angry and wanted to get revenge on who ever took her best friend.

The Fall

I was getting ready to go skiing with my friend. We got on are heavy boots and then grabbed our skis. I couldn't even feel the cold with all the layers I had on. Madison and I planned on warming up on the bunny hill since it was only are third time skiing. We went up the hill on the magic carpet. Skiing on the bunny hill was so easy. I suggested that we go to the hill where you hold on to a rope and it takes you up then you ski down. Since skiing was so easy for us we wanted to try and snowboard. We had to fill out another for and change shoes. I was a little nervos because I had never snowboarded before and heard it was hard. We had only gone on the bunny hill once with the board but we waned to go on a bigger hill. When we got to the top I pushed myself down the hill and Immediately fell. My friends mom helped me up and said balance. I thought I had it but I was wrong because when I went down the hill I tried to stop but I fell face forward back on the magic carpet and landed on my arms. I was asleep for along time and woke up in my bed in my dark room. I am never snowboarding again!

I just got back from dance and it was a lot of fun. In my class with my friend  Miyah ^-^. In jazz we have to do the splits and a bunch of times and abs stretches. We have  been practicing this new dance in ballet and jazz. Miyah came home with me after dance. We got are hair and nails done. When we were driving to my house we decided to go outside. It was freezing! We ended up having a snowball fight and after we had pizza. I am so glad I got to spend time with my friend.

When I woke up on a cold Saturday morning, I slipped on my dance clothes and went to two hours of ballet and jazz. The hardest part In jazz is when we have to do the splits and hold it for 3 minutes. After dance I only have 49 minutes to eat and change into my Girl Scout clothes. In Girl Scouts we get a lot of homework. I finally got home and my mom went in the kitchen to turn on  the stove and this big gas smell filled the kitchen. She turned it off then turned it back on and this time it smelled up the whole house. I started to get dizzy and so was my mom so we were told to evacuate and we had to go to my aunts house in Farmington hills. What sucked is she did not have wifi so I sat  around doing nothing for two days.

When I stepped outside Birmingham Covington School a chill went over me.  Not because of the freezing weather it was because I was a little nervous about going to downtown Birmingham. We would have  to talk to a store about sponsoring our business. In class we are making jewelry out of used gift cards to sell. When I got in  my friends car that was going to take me and 4 other people in my class  I buckled up my seat belt and tried to relax. When we pulled up to the store called Art Loft it looked very crafty. I opened up the door and a loud bell rang right in my ear. I looked around and there was a little bit of everything in the store. They had a gallery of photos, cool scarfs and my favorite Paris tea cups. When we asked to speak with Rachel she said this is she. I got out my  iPad and took pictures we could use later. Rachel said that she would definitely put up our flyers and give us money.  She said that our product looked  more like" kid jewelry". We thanked her for her time and after we went to Tim Horton's. I guess I had nothing to worry about after all.

Year Round School

I think Year round school is a good idea because it helps students academically achieve more. Lots of kids all over the world experience burnouts during the summer and most of them forgot most of the stuff they learned in the school year. About 50 million children are on summer vacation across the United Sates. Many are discovering new interests at summer camp, playing ball, or travelling with Mom and Dad but other kids are walking up and down the streets because they have nothing to do between the long period of time of summer break. When we had a brawn economy summer vacation was useful.

Why I think we should have year round should

The stairs creaked as my mom walked down the stairs to the basement. when she opened up the door and walked over to pick up the laundry detergent she looked over her right shoulder and it appeared to be a piece of cloth. It was Jet black and was curvy and it almost looked and it had pointy wings and wait it was a BIRD!!!  She was freaking out but she remained calm. She got what she needed to get and stiffly left out. While all this was happening my friends house having fun and playing games. When my mom picked me up she told me everything and I laughed so hard and I guess I'm never going in the basement again.

It was a cold January morning. My mom and I were pulling out of a friends house when we stopped at a halt. My mom tried to back up, but we were stuck and spinning on pure of ice in the middle of the street.I could see on my moms face that she was more scared than I was. My mom got out of the car and told me to get into the drivers seat and I was going to have to drive while she pushed the car. Luckily, a  little white car came towards us then stopped suddenly. I got scared because he honked his horn and told us to get in the car. He walked towards our car and started to push the car. He told my mom to go backwards while he pushed. In my head I was thinking that I had never got stuck before. When I looked out the window a big white van pulled up and 2 men immediately got out. First it was a man that looked mean with baggy clothes and then an older guy with a cigarette and a cane that looked evil. This time I felt like jumping out the car and running but they actually came over and told my mom to straiten up the wheels while they pushed. While we did this one guy kicked away some snow next to the wheel and then my mom backed up and we got out! We thanked them twice and drove off. After that I learned not to judge a book by its cover.

By mom by dad! I said. I was on an airplane to Paris France. I had been wanting to go ever sense I saw this one special picture my grandma gave me. I was going to produce my first fashion line. When I looked out the window I felt a slight kick in my back. I soon relized that it was the 7. Year old in back of me. Han you please stop kicking me? Why should I he yelled back. I tried to ignore him I my head and slowly drifted to sleep. I was awaken by the sound of the flight attendant on the loud speaker saying we were an hour away. I got out of my seat and reached yp for my laptop. When I reached I didn't feel it so I did it again but still not their. I started to panic. Then I thought about the pictures I brought. On one of them I drew the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, and something else I saw in Paris. The other ones I designed and put on models. I finally got to reality and asked the flight attendant  and she said a pink case didn't make it on the plane but it would be shipped to the border of France. Oh no I thought I wasn't going to be any where close to that! I went back to my seat with a glum look. What's wrong did someone not find their laptop? The boy behind me said. I ignored him once more and waited until we safely landed. When we finally landed I got my bags hoping that some how some where that I could get my laptop. When I got out of the taxi that took me Paris where the Eiffel Tower was I took a moment to take in the scenery. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and to my surprise their was the boy sitting behind me with my laptop. How..but..where.. But how could you do this. I have ways. Thank you so much I said then he walked away.  This was the best trip ever a and it will defenitly come back!

One day there was a female mother who left her children to go to the Bahamas with her sister. This lady's name was Penelope Piper. She had very special gifts that could easily be used for the wrong things. She left behind her daughter Winter who is 7 years old and her 3 year old daughter named yellone but everyone called her  yellow bellow because every time she was hungry she would bellow at you like a bull. Winter was looking out thee window hoping for any sign of her sweet dear mother while her sister went to town digging in her nose. Every night after Winter tucked her little sister in she would snuggle up with this special stone necklace her mother had gave her before she vanished deep into the Bahamas.
