Wonder by R.J. Palacio
In the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio Auggie has to overcome the
challenges that come with having a facial deformity but he eventually finds
good friends. Theme of the story is that there are going to be issues in life
but you just have to push through and keep going. In the end it will pay off. I
think that is Auggie is special and different or a "Wonder".
Earlier in the story Auggie has to make some difficult decisions. like when his mom wants him to go to school. “I don’t want to go to school” Auggie says folding his arms. “It would be good for you” His mom says. Auiggie feels like he doesn’t belong at school and every one will laough at him. When Auggie actually gets to school for the first time
